Netting a few specks and flounder the other day has made me realize I do not want a net at all. My jigs were getting caught in net and making me leave the zone I was fishing due to hands being tied up with complete mess.
I realize that boga grip is the better lipper to get due to material and workmanship, but was curious if anyone has tried the Econo Scale??? I did purchase something at FTU which was a plastic lipper ...(The Fish Grip $14.00) has anyone used one at all?

The Econo-Lipper I bought at BassPro worked pretty good until I left it at Galveston Island State Park. It only got to grip a 7# Redfish taken from the surf.

We have two econolippers, a 25 and a 15 lb model. Both are over 2 years old and still working fine. They are way cheaper, lighter, and about as reliable as the boga.
Hard to beat for 20 bucks.
I got some 5, 10, and 15 pound weights to test the reliability of the scale and they were within 1 pound on each!!!!!!!!!

The Boga's are nice, but way out of my price range, so I ordered one of these Econo Lipper 15lb off ebay:

For $12.95+$4.50 shipping it's a purdy good deal.
Liked it so much I ordered another for my son.
