Wind prediction is out of the North, 20-30 mph. Survival is the name of the game.

The wind will be coming from the opposite direction tomorrow. If I don't have pictures of fish by 9am, it's not going to happen. These are my home waters and I NEVER catch fish when it gets that windy and muddy. I'm still going to have a good time, gosh dangit!!!!!!!

I didn't even bother going down there this morning. I stayed here in CC, but still want to try baffin in the morn, as futile as it will be though.

Senior Division members of Team Kingz are drinking hot coffee at Team Headquarters in Portland. Holly C$!P, Steadmans was really ugly. Hardest 150 yard paddle of my short kayak career  Gave a good couple hours at Steadmans for zippo. Hope no one got "sucked" in by the relatively mild conditions at start time. We were enroute north at about 0600 and ran into the wind about Robstown, though kept going. The 6AM "WIND" report was a bit off...saying 6-10. Kept getting worse through the early AM. We were off the water about 1000. Good luck to those that are still grinding!
