Fishing report Friday 3 August 2018:
Yakdat joined me this past Friday at the 181 cove hole. Plenty of live bait at the kayak ramp, nice humid morning and no wind.
We had a vey successful fishing day with Yakdat netting 15 channel cats 4-6 lbs using chicken liver and I broke my Redfish personal best with a total of 13 Reds ranging from 22 to 30 inches long using live baby tilapia as bait..
Next trip is this coming Saturday leaving the kayak ramp around 0630. Season is ending soon.

Hey bud. I'll be out there Saturday morning. Will be looking to hook up with a few more reds. Plan is to troll across the lake again and then soak some baits over at the cove.
See you on the water...

Will be there if not storming in the morning.

Went outside to load up and lighting just to the west of me and smell of rain in the air. Checked weather again and it looks like rain is going to hit earlier than originally forecasted. Going to check again in an hour or so but doesnt look like I'll be making this trip. Something about lightning and water dont mix too well for me. Lol
