1) Locate areas on sides of kayak and mark for eyelets. 2) Install eyelets with 3/16" stainless screws with lok washers. 3) Install 1/8" shock cord on both ends. 4) Apply (2) 1" stainless carabiners with micro block pully's 5) Using about 25" of 1/8" climbing nylon rope insert thru pully's as shown to center of yak. 6) On one end tie on a nylon triangle with a barrel knot on the other end tie on an aluminum carabiner(pull taught and tie with another barrel not)you can manuver the anchor from front to back of yak.This is the fourth one I have done it is very simple and works great to.Yoy can place the boat any direction even on windy days.
