Made it to Surfside Beach a few miles west of San Luis Pass around 7:45. The waves were mild, the wind was light, and the water looked like choclate milk. Had my GF with me, so I ran baits and stayed on the beach most of the day. Overall, the seaweed gave me a few problems, I was having some problems getting my surf weights to stick. They would collect some weed and get drug down the beach by the tide. Caught a juvenile blacktip and a 1.5lb gafftop. I hope the water clears for the kingfish turney
