Brother, if I was driving a minivan, I don't think I would ever admit it. No offense to anyone that does, I know how it can be with a family.

Finally overcame the camera jinx!
Here's 'MaryAnn' my Castaway, it is my first yak and has not flipped, etc. and has been an honest boat. All the bad mouthing just shows unskilled handling.
Over 150 fish and counting...
Ready to launch condition at Lake Conroe, caught 4 hybrids that day in 2 hours.

Ahhh...glad you dug this back up! I missed posting the first time around...

Here is my old standby Redfish 12. I've added others to the fleet, but this is my go-to kayak. Nothing too fancy with the rigging though. The more I add to the kayak...the more there is to get my fly line tangled up in!

We are lucky to have some clear water around here. Most of the time I sight cast to bass...and I really enjoy sneaking up on fishy looking spots in the kayak. No better way to fish in my opinion! :)

I have done some remodeling since this photo last month, but it still looks about the same. Cluttered.
You can't see the deer feeder batteries. One is for electronics and one for LED submersible lights ( night fishing for crappie) and nav lights. Batteries have snap in mounts and through hull charging connections so I can leave them in hull and charge while driving.
I have added another telescoping 360 clearance light to the other side to mount video on as well as low profile nav lights on bow. I have also made a prototype custom front hatch cover with a slot to drop fish through into a live well that is in the works. It will be another month getting done, but I will post up when I get it fin..........well.... it will never be finished. Working on it really cuts into my fishing time. :?
