we need to register our chapter as an official 501c not for profit organization......is anyone familiar with the procedures and exactly what we need to do in order to register?.....if so, please contact me or Jennifer.....

Larry - I'm just wondering why this is necessary? Is APTKF taking in and distributing $$ in some way?

no we are not taking in money at this time, at least none that i am aware of......Jennifer asked me to post this as she was thinking that we might take on the expo this year.......i am personally hesitate about doing anything with not for profit/non profit status......tooooo much paperwork....

have you checked into a rack for your truck yet?

Ok. I'll check some of my contacts to see if they have any experience with this. Like you, I'd be hesitant to set anything up that is going to require paperwork to set up, and then some type of filing each year.

I've been talking with RattleTrap who has the same rack that I've been looking at for awhile, and if Home Depot has it in stock I'll probably make it my weekend project.

Here's a link to the picture he posted. Would save all of the room in the bed of the truck for all of the kids' and wife's junk when we go on vacation.
