Don't forget -- Town Lake after work tomorrow (6/19)

I drove down to Fiesta Gardens at lunch and just watched the fish from the bank. I saw tons of bass!!! Most of them were in that 7"-10" range. But I watched a school of shad working near the surface for about 15 minutes. Something big, I think a gar, was busting them in the open water. They moved right up to me. Then a huge football shaped fish exploded on the shad. It was awesome!!! This guy shot straight up from the dark deep water, made a zig-zag thru the school and was gone. Then a school of 4 bass in the 1.5-2 # range cruised by... I was surprised at how active the fish were at 12:30pm. I am stoked to fish!!!
