My area of the Guadalupe is loaded with liliy pads. Ive been catching some good bass by flipping the outside areas with a senko or light weighted lizard and can see movement further in.
My question is...whats the ticket to get bass out of the thick stuff or better yet, some sort of top water rig that I can hop from pad to pad letting it sink in between.
Tried plastic frogs but they get hung up.
Thinking weightless T-rigged Senko? Ideas?

Watercress and lilly pad bass require veggie-chopping braid and a rod no lighter than MH (heavier is better).
Not sure why the frogs are a problem. Here's a frog-style crayfish pattern, and my frogger reel with Japan's hardest 45-lb braid.

How about a senko rigged with a nice bullet weight and rigged weedless, throw it in the middle and punch through them? Or a frog hopped across the top and stop them in the space between pads like Ron suggested?

Any exposed hook frog snags pads in my experience. They dont always land right side up.
Lure has to (imho) be rigged weedless. Ill try some screw in bullet weights on some sort of thin plastic be it senko, worm, creature or craw

Considering how frogs are weighted, it's Very Unlikely for them to land upside-down on a bait cast.
All bets are off with a spinning cast.
My bread-and-butter winter glass minnow lures are trout minnows with the tiny trebles swapped for single plug hooks.
Because of tight line casts, they never foul on baitfinesse tackle.
But the hooks and line foul 4/5 casts on spinning tackle.

If you're fishing spinning tackle, try using manual bail technique.
The fingers of your free hand feather the line coming off the spool to keep it "tighter" - not quite baitcast-tight.

I ended up having success using a clear plastic screw in bullet device made by Reactions Innovations.
It does have a slight amount of weight, just enough to slowly sink a plastic bait.
Fun seeing movement in the pads then hooking and dragging out a fish
