I caught two flounder; 20.5 and 17, fishing the marsh and guts of the south shore line. I have been fishing the marsh along Church Hill but the strong N wind kept me south. The high tide allowed me to in the marsh and keep the wind behind me.
The bigger fish hit a green weightless swim bait and the smaller one hit a vudu shrimp; not back to back and from different areas. Both fish slammed my bait as if they were hungry. Also, the bigger fish came with drama.
After netting and placing it in the kayak, the fish flopped out of the net, onto my legs and into the water. All I could thing of was this big fish will be just another fish tale. Anyway, it was still hooked and I was able to land it again. I do believe this is my PB flounder.
I was on the water for 3.5 hours and this was due to watching the Texans and Astros. These two fish saved my Sunday!!!

Thanks for the report.
Can't beat flounder for eats.
I won't mention Texas-OU - oops, I did.

Not bad for only 3.5 hours. I DVR my USC Trojans and fish all day.
