Yesterday my son was sick, and this morning I woke up at 3:15 not feeling well. I got up and moved around a bit and knew it was a sick day. So I loaded up the kayak and headed to the shallows to feel bad with my swimming friends. The early bite was almost non-existent, but I found a couple of fish. At 10:00 it got much more interesting, and by noon I had caught a dozen decent redfish. I remembered to get photos of most of them before releasing the fish and paddled for home, still not feeling great but better than I had been feeling at daybreak. My intention was not to cover a lot of water, but since fish were not where I hoped to find them, I just kept looking. After 17 miles I had done more than enough paddling, and now it may be nap time lol. The fever has left but the queasy feeling is still hanging on... oh well, at least I got some fish and some exercise.

Enjoyed the photos, Prof. Thanks for sharing.
Next time, don't leave home with a fever. To do so could create serious complications.
Get well.
