The surf reports look pretty good for Fri. and Saturday. I also have the rare opportunity that the kids are gone with grandparents. I am new to kayak fishing, but have been surf fishing for quite some time. I was thinking about taking the Big Tuna down to the beach this weekend.
The thing that has me a bit hesitant are the crowds on the weekends. I don't mind driving further south or even out east to get away from the Houston crowds and possibly better fishing. Anyone have any suggestions on where to go if I was looking to avoid the crowds. If anyone wanted to meet up somewhere that is cool with me.
