Anyone planning to do some BTB tomorrow at High Island? I'm thinking about going to Slabs for some bull reds.
Weather conditions look pretty decent.

Went out of Freeport on Saturday. 2.5' seas with 8kt SE wind. Crazy current coming through. Not sure if is was all the fresh coming from the rivers but on the way out to the closest rig, I went through 4 distinct color changes. One of which I could only describe as the tanic color of a Florida bayou. Nothing but hard heads and trolled in and out.

It was slow for bull reds on Bolivar. Landed a few, but nothing huge. The gaftop were a nuisance.

the weather looks doable tues. contemplating bolivar or sea rim.
