Good afternoon. I just bought my first kayak and put it on its first maiden voyage today. Fished for an hour and putted around for a couple hours after that. It's a great setup and stable enough to stand in. Just looking for some beginner advice.

Mine is the top one in the pic.

You may already know this but always wear your PFD, especially on Lake RH. It gets really rough in the wind and lots,Lots, LOTS of big and fast moving boats on that lake. A bright elevated flag for the back is also a really good idea. I just started using one recently and like that I'm more visible to other boat traffic. As far as fishing goes, that lake has it all so just throw everything you have til you figure out what's biting and what they're biting on. Have fun and keep leaving reports when you go! And Ron Mc wants Pics, lots of pics! (me too :D )
