Yes sir. I have not seen them since but they were there. I have seen them rolling past the third sandbar at pins as well but can never get one to button up.

Great video Killerbee, now my blood is running to get out. How recent was the tarpon hook and land at the Matty rig and was it on a ribbon fish. I plan on making a couple trips down in the next few weeks if the conditions allow. I would like to hit the rigs that are ~7 miles out and then some of the artificial reef a bit further out. May also head down to PINS.

The tarpon were on glass minnow jigs on 3000 spinning reel and trout rod. Epic fight, couldn't get them to hit anything except those little jigs. They must have been keyed in on small baits.

Great Video, going out to the Port Aransas Beach (between Casa Condos and the Mayan Princess) and taking my Trident 13 for some off shore fishing; we'll probably have our limit by then but I can always catch and release. Not really crazy about the taste of Kings but a Mahi-mahi, Trout or Redfish would be nice.
