The first quality hatch of the year happened yesterday as the damsels and callibaetis popped from 10-1. The bows and cutts were cruisin in 3-5 fow over weeds feasting on the bugs. Topper/dropper with the adult damsel trailed with #14 hares ear was the setup for these 20-25" bruisers on 2x tippet. 70* temps and gentle breeze made for perfect conditions to site the many targets. All released for tomorrows go around. Cheers
