I have a Lowrance Chrip 4 for my Hobie Pro Angler. I was curious if anyone knows if there are maps that come up when you are in the Armand Bayou area? Maps that show the details of all the bayous and waterways past the bridge from Bay Area Park.

I recently installed the Fishfinder, I'm not exactly sure how this works for my Fishfinder - I go to a lake and the surrounding waterway comes up.
Not sure if all creeks and bayous are mapped?

Does anyone know?

I have a Lowrance hook 5 on mine but I also have the Navionics card in it. It was showing all the sloughs and watertways at east Matagorda but some weren't accurate. For example I went down one slough that showed it connected to the bay and it was a dead end but went down the next one that showed it dead ended but it connected. That could be just outdated and a change in contour from storms/tides but just shows you can't fully trust them for accuracy. I don't know how much detail there is in just the base maps that come installed on them either. Hope this helps
