Rig off Galveston

Hey guys, is the rig just east/north of Galveston jetties worth a paddle out? It's right out front our beach house. How far is it?

Hey Ben,
My go-to tool for finding the distance to a rig is Google-Earth. Download it to your computer and zoom into your spot, good chance you will be able to see the rig. Then pull out the ruler to measure the distance. I will try to look at it when I get home this evening.

I'm sure it's a doable paddle, I'm just wondering if the fishing is any good out there... I'll check with my distance measure if I can locate the coordinates...

I just found a couple of wrecks just out front of our beach house too. I know they are there, cause I can see the masts sticking up out of the water... water is really muddy. Any hope of any fish out there? Water looks to be just under 10'.
