Planing on a San Marcos fun float at the end of the month. Hopefully I'll have some pics to post....

Had the opportunity to squeeze in a little river time on the San Marcos yesterday evening. Landed three small lmb's with my new gear. Paddled out under the stars. Great way to end a Saturday.

well its not in a kayak but it is still awesome. fished out of Corpus this last Friday and got our limit in 30 minuets.

I haven't taken the yak out much this month for various reasons. Despite high flows and off colored water, I did have a fairly successful evening on the Guad this past Saturday. The key was casting directly behind structure that caused current breaks; the bass were hitting it on the fall. With the weather cooling down, and the crowds finally leaving, I hope to be fishing a lot more over the next few months.
