Friday doesn't look too bad but Sat forecasts even stronger winds. For me it'll be Sunday. Winds are expected to be lite all day. I don't mind a little chop but my pup has a different opinion. I only know because he leaves the pup-deck and climbs in my lap. Good thing i don't use a paddle. I'm planning on hitting the salt somewhere. I'm always by myself so i never know where i'll be til i park my truck.

Finally time to charge the batteries...woowhoo!

Not sure if I'll go on BTB Just yet. I've only been out on the kayak about 5-6 times.

If you end up finding a place Sunday I'll meet you. Otherwise I'll probably be out in Freeport somewhere.

I'm wanting to hit Stingaree and into Yates Bayou. There's lots of solid land in there where i can get out and walk both sides of the islands. Some depths in there run >9ft. The only "if" for me is the time it takes to get there.

I am going to find somewhere protected from wind on Saturday morning, probably dollar bay marsh area or upper Highland bayou.
Sunday I am going to launch from end of Sportsman Rd on the Island. Never been there before so going to check it out before LSKS.

Going to try and hit Stedman's Reef or the Portland area near Indian Point in Corpus on Sunday when the winds die down a bit.

I will only have a chance to go Sunday if at all (hoping Saturday chores don't bleed over). Thinking Anahuac NWR if the winds end up slowing overnight and shifting to ENE, as predicted. Just hope there's still some water left in the bay.
