Another cibilo creek report 3/17/16

I had some time off today so I decided that a quick trip to the cibilo creek to do a little bass fishing was in order. I loaded up the yak hit the water around 1:30 or so. Right off the bat I started catching first fish was a 12-13" large mouth on a pumpkin lizard. Today was very a productive day for a small rebel crank bait I ended up catching around 10-15 bass including a Guadalupe bass around the 12" mark, also managed 1 12" crappie and a bunch of blue gills. Largest bass today was a very fat 16" large mouth.

Nice day man! Sure wish we had those crappie around my neck of the woods at cibolo creek.

I'm not sure how abundant the crappie really are in my area I have caught only a few but all of the ones I have caught have been over 12".

That bass you caught had sure been eating well! Looks like you found a good spot to fish. Tight lines bud!

I used to attend Journey but have returned to my old stomping grounds of NBCofC.
This is not a hijack because those are some awesome Cibolo fishes!

were can you launch on Cibilo creek?

I usually launch under ih10 near fm2538 or on ulrich road which is about 5 miles down fm 2538 headed toward fm 775. If you search rio cibilo ranch that will bring up directions to the spot where I launch.
