I would like to see if we could get a NW chapter fishing trip together. Once we get a group of five or more, we can coordinate a date and location.

Not many people browsing the chapter forum for this. Maybe plan a March or April trip and PM some of the chapter members. I am trying to put together a Womens trip too.

Post up a few dates you have in mind and see which one will work for everyone. Just an idea.

Also, probably re-post in the regular forum to get more responses.

It's been a while since I joined this chapter but never looked up this forum. It's always hard to find fellow yakkers in my neck of the woods.. I stay off of SH 249, south of tomball. I'll be interested if the dates work out. I have a little one.

Maybe we can get something together for this little group. I'm in, Westend how about you? Rich has flown North for the Summer. We can pick a date and PM some folks.

I'm still down to go.. PM me your email and I can send a doodle poll. It's always the best way I found to schedule ahead for events no matter how many people..

I JUST joined TKF and this chapter today, after I picked up my first fishing kayak. I've been interested in kayak fishing for a couple years but as I mention in my post under the "New to Kayaking" forum, I made excuses and never got around to it. If y'all are still looking for additional spots to fill and don't mind yakin' with a noob (I know how to fish) then you can count me in.

Okay, hopefully I will be able to check with some places for a meeting/ meet and greet this coming week. Looks like I don't have any weekends off until the fall though but we can still put together a trip sooner. If I can't go on this trip, I can go on the next one and you guys can take lots of pictures for me :D The new Shack is getting ready to open on Telge Rd at the old P.O's Burgers and Cypress Saloon. I thought that may be a good mid way point for a meeting. I will contact the owner next week for an opening date and see if I can set this up.
