Colorado at Bastrop- Safe this weekend?

Post by CWLV1999 »

With the upstream rains will the Colorado at Bastrop be safe this weekend? Trying to do an overnight trip. Reviewed the Hydromet gauges but do not have a lot of experience with them. Any thoughts from the veterans? Thanks in advance for the help. Also if anyone has seen the river I would appreciate you observations.

Thanks,

Thanks, guess it was wishful thinking. Hydromet finally registered major rise in Bastrop this morning. All day yesterday it was holding steady.

Usually it takes about a day for a flood crest to move between the Hydromet stations
