First King Video

A video i made of my first king fish caught at the Matagorda rig on friday. Had about a 6-7 ft. bull shark trying to get him and you can see him one time down in the water in the video.

The shark is in the lower left corner right after i say it in the video and slow it down, It was hard to catch at first but after i saw it i couldn't miss it.

Thanks Mr. Danny, it was like that shark was mad that he didn't get the fish, he sayed around my yak till i headed in , even eating my ribbon fish twice that was under my balloon.

I viewed the video another couple of times and think I might just had a glimpse of the shark.

Doesn't make any difference if I see it or not, I trust you and if you say there was a shark.............there was a dang shark!

If you watch it a few times and look at the very bottom of the screen you will see........a kayak with quite a bit of water in it

Great footage! I saw the shark swim by. Awesome fish! You could of kept my pump until you made it to the beach Me and Jenn each had one. Great fishing with you and thanks for the ribbon fish. I noticed a mini x or two in the background.

Ya there was a lot of water in my boat . and the pump helped a lot and was much appreciated!! After i got the water out the first time i didn't think i would need it again, wish mine didn't float off to the back of my boat:oops:

We'll have to get out there again you still need your king!!

Cool vid. Sorry about you not being old enough for the BWKC but you still managed to get out and get your king on. I noticed just after the shark appearance that you got your feet out of the water. Wonder why I've got to try to get down to Matty within the next couple of weeks myself but the next 2 weekends are off limits for me.

Ya i can't fish it till 2016 as my birthday is in October. It would be cool if they changed it to 17 as you need a fishing licensee so you should be able to fish in the Tourney and that shark got my feet out of the water for sure
