Post by Flyfisher87 »

Im in the area for a few days. I tried fishing on a pier today but didn't even get a bite. Anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.

Fish the jetties. I like going to fish pass jetties. Access road 2 drive west all the way. Always fish out there.

Well that's a big area and alot of water to cover

In Port A- if your in Aransas pass all the way down to the ferry is Aransas bay on both side. Plenty of wade fishing spots in the grass for reds. In port a try the Jerry's. you can also go toward corpus on 361 and there are a couple roads that lead back to the bay side that can be fished. If you fish the surf be there at daybreak and fish the first and second gut

Corpus has a ton of water. From packers channel, Oso bay, PINS and on. Red dot pier has had some good reports in the evenings.

Dawn and early morning cruise the beach and toss lures in the wade gut on activity. Mid day you could wade deadmans hole behind the church on 361.
