Hi im John, I am interested in group outings, im in the shopping stages of a new kayak i used to have a ocean trident 13
currently lookin for somthing simmilar, i live at 45&1960 my mother lives on lake conroe so i have a place to launch.
if anyone has some suggestions for a kayak( lookin for a cheep starter) i welcome all input.
just for info im looking to spend between 400-600 on a kayak

I found the Malibu Mini-X a great all around kayak. I love them. I've seen them recently on this board for about $400 used.

I found a heritage fishing SOT for around 300 just havent heard anything about them,

I found a heritage 14ft for 250 I'm pickin up tonight plan on its maiden voyage Sunday I figure if I don't like it I can let my girlfriend use it and get me a new one
