Water temp was 66 degrees. Started the day off at Bowman creek. The water was very low. No crappie in the trees near the entrance. I only caught a small bass and a small white bass. Got back in the car and drove down to Walnut creek. No fish near the entrance. Found a nice crappie near one of my spots. Had to paddle further up the creek to find any more fish.
No fish near that overhanging tree, but I found a bunch of fish near some stumps close to the bank. All of the crappie were 11 - 12 inches. I pulled five keepers out of there. Had a few throwbacks. Found another set of stumps in the same area that held another three keepers and a few throwbacks.
Saw the guy I gave the road runner to yesterday. He had what looked like a 13 inch crappie on a stringer.
