Alright I am starting to really do some reserach as to where I am going to fish when I move to Tampa this fall. Google earth is showing me about all it can, but I am having a heck of a time finding a forum like this. I have found guides and such, but I'm looking for a group of guys like we are lucky enough to have here. Anyone got pointers?

If you have time, head towards Clearwater and fish near the Memorial bridge or Clearwater pass bridge, the current sometimes kicks through there but there's plenty of areas to anchor up and fish. Just make sure you have a visible flag due to alot of boaters head through there to get out to the Gulf. Or if your feeling adventurous kayak out to the end of Pier 60 in Clearwater and fish the structure out in front of it.

Have you tried the Florida Sportsman Forum? It's not specifically for Kayakers, but you can probably find some info for the Tampa area.

AY-- captain mel com. is the one I use in Fl. They target Tampa and south to Venice. Good stuff in FL.--Tightlines-Vin

Kayakfishingstuff florida forum is useally a good place to ask about most areas in florida.Great inshore fishing from Tampa all of the way to 10'000 islands, Flamingo.Don't bother with So. West Palm to Ft Lauderdale unless fishing offshore.
