You ought to check out the 7.5 Fathom Reef and the artificial reef at Port Mansfield. The 7.5 fathom reef was created in the ice age and is reported to hold red snapper. It is just over 3 miles from shore while the artificial reef is about 7 miles from shore.

I think in 1 month im gona do that trip, another fishing partner order the Hobie AI, you know, i dont want to be alone out there, i saw that fathom reef on the fishing map, i hope its the same coordinates, do you know how deep is ?, i think im going to need one long long rope to anchor out there.
