Lure's Tourney ~ Louis' Happy Hour????
So since Stubbs asked for a jump start on this Chapter I'm gonna try to give y'all something to do!
Who'd all be interested in a lures Tournament/Get together down at Louis' Bait Camp in Bayou Vista in the near future? Entry fee would be one new lure (Bag of plastics, topwater, spoon etc. Your choice)
Show up and drop your entry in a bowl, go fish and be back at a pre-detirmine time to see who takes the pot. Then hang out on the porch and kick back and shoot the breeze with other plastic navy Captians and put faces with names on TKF!
I talked to some folks at Louis' this morning and it would be pretty easy to set up, I'm just testing the waters for y'alls opinion!

Sounds interesting, with enough notice (2 weeks preferred at least) I could probably get the day off.
Re: Lure's Tourney ~ Louis' Happy Hour????
That does sound interesting - but I think my next weekend opening for kayaking is in July.

Exactly, close proximity to fishing plus a bar and grill so everyone can get what they want. No fuss no mussBigGabe63 wrote:I'd def. be interested in that plus Louis has some dang good burgers too!!

Yeah, depending on when, I'm in. can I launch from my front yard?
Kidding
But can we add...no "freebie lures"

Other similar style "lure tournaments" I've seen generally have a $5 minimum value on your "entry bag", can be one item worth 5 or more, or several items (jig heads/spoons/spinners, etc.) with a minimum $5 value. Something to consider.

Yeah, I like that idea, a value minimum.RedWolf wrote:Other similar style "lure tournaments" I've seen generally have a $5 minimum value on your "entry bag", can be one item worth 5 or more, or several items (jig heads/spoons/spinners, etc.) with a minimum $5 value. Something to consider.

Ok I think I got enough input and I'll get the wheels rolling. Look for something on here before the weekend is up
