Building a surf Rod
Well for my dads birthday im building him a surf rod. I've built a few fly rods here and there but never a surf rod. Can some one help me with a list of materials I will need. Any information will be helpful.

call Terry Jones at Fishing Tackle Unlimited in the fishing rod department, ( we have a "rod building club" and meet there )and it is the man to go to for parts and info ! (very knowledgeable)

That is the only thing I miss about Houston. I used to live two miles from FTU.

i am i think 3 miles from there, heheh.
ya can still call him and get an idea , i "rebuilt" 2 from junk rods with his help.
