Santa brung me a camo hammock and a camo tarp,, and I had to try them out.
I got to sleep in it the last 2 nights,,,,,, And did alittle experimenting.
last night was the coldest, 32* at 10:00pm and 26* thismorning.
Using only a Hennessy Hex tarp for top cover, a 1/8 inch thick neoprene pad, an older $19.00 sleeping bag for a pad and a 30* sleeping bag to sleep in. It wasn't the hammock, but the layers of insulation that worked, It was comforbatle all night.
I have to say that this Grand Truck Ultra light is pretty comfortable infact I slept better in it, than my Hennessy. for a $29.00 hammock I am impressed.
For the suspension, I put those black web boat dock straps on it and it works just fine for me,,,,,

When you experiment, you experiment.
