Wading near Bolivar ferry landing?

I haven't fished for over a year and am looking to get back into it again. Do they still allow wading near the Galveston/Bolivar ferry landing? I remember at one point they closed off the wading area on the Galveston side due to construction.

Anyone try there recently?

Last time i was down there people were wading around Galv. ferry. Idk about bolivar (couple weeks ago)

Yes you can. I've been thinking about doing some yak drift fishing around Ft. Travis. Not too many folks there, and plenty of room for decent drifts. Still within the jetties, so there should be a bunch of flounder. Never been so I'm not sure of how many obstructions are on the bottom.
