Reds in the marsh

Post by isubarui »

Fished a new area to try and find some trout but it was loaded with reds instead. First time I have seen redfish tailing in a while and they were out in force. All fish came on a clown colored corky devil. Most of the redfish were caught in 3 feet of water over shell on an outgoing tide next to deep water. What a surprising pattern huh... Caught a nice red that pushed over the limit.

The first picture is first rate. I love the Reds when they turn that color. Great shot.

OK, I am definitely an outsider, or I forgot my secret decoder ring ... if is kosher, can someone please enlighten me as to where the marsh is? Don't worry, I'll probably never get there or never find it! A spectacular image for sure, and since I fish solo mostly, it makes me want to figure out how to take my own pic. more successfully. shannon

Hey! I think you're trying to confuse us! If those fish were tailing in 3 feet of water then each of those fish should be 36" or better! Doesn't look that way in the pic!

Just messin with ya. Great pics. :D
