Prayers needed

Tuesday night my 24 year old son was struck by a large SUV while walking across a busy street. He suffered major head trauma, two subdermal hematomas, kidney damage and two broken verabrate. He was rushed into emeregency surgery to relieve the swelling on his brain. Through the many prayers of family and friends, and the skill and dedication of the surgeons and staff, he has regained conciousness and is off life support, however he has a long way to go. I truly believe that prayer, especially in large numbers, has a miraculous effect. I ask any and all TKFers reading this to please take a moment and lift my son up in prayer and if possible, please put him in your prayer groups, prayer chains and church request for healing, his name is David Justin James

Done as I sit at this keyboard. You are correct about prayer lifted up in one accord. Know that you, your son and family are continually being offered up in petition, Lastly, please keep us posted as to his progress.

Lord God,

I thank you for the opportunity to come before you on behalf of David Justin James and his family. You are a God who knows our weaknesses and frailties, and you choose to love us anyway. Thank you for your mercies.

Lord, please pour out your Holy Spirit on David. Speed his healing and ease his pain. Let his recovery be complete. Return him to full use of his mind and his body. Show your loving mercy once again.

Be with David's caregivers. Bless them as they minister to his needs and promote his healing.

Turn our eyes to Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins and the healing of our souls. In His holy name I pray. Amen.
