Praying for Houston and sorrounding

Post by Flavio »

Hi all,
If you live in the path of the hurricane, I pray your homes come out of this with minimal or no damage. I pray all families in this board and not are safe and out of harms way. Take care.

Thanks guy's! I have to say, this one has me a bit worried. Sure hope those folks down on the island got the heck out. After watching the news coverage, Galveston appears to be in major trouble.

Well we will try to stay safe. We are hunkering down at the San Luis in Galveston and hopefully no one will call for a ambulace. Things are getting pretty scarry around here now, a lot of the island already has water on it and you cannot even get past 103rd street and seawall. I have a bad feeling about the body count post IKE. Take cae and all stay safe and please do not call for a ambulance in Galveston tonight.

It's been a while since I posted on the site, but wanted to wish all you guys well. Ever since Ike was predicted to hit the Galveston/Houston area, I've been thinking about the guys I got to fish with while I was in Houston last year for work.

Mythman, Jake, Crazy Yak, Let's Go, red fish hole, Mrs Backlasher... All the folks that I had the pleasure of fishing with, meeting, or just yakkin' with on-line... Good luck to you all!

I vaguely remember some talk from some of the folks that disapproved of all the building going on down on the west end of the island, and wishing for a hurricane to blow the houses away... Looks like they're getting their wish. Of course, not everyone agreed with wishing for that scenario, but I just thought it ironic that it was discussed, and now is coming to pass.

Again, I wish you well...

Just had our first power glitch, looks like we are fixing to be in for a long night. Good luck to everyone again...and lets pray those 24,000 people who stayed in Galveston somehow survive...
