Been in water 6 times total. I am original owner. I always said if I could only have one kayak to my name this would be it. The hull is the last evolution of the higher freeboard Outbacks. They changed to the lower design that ride much wetter if you are heavy, loaded own or in rough waters.

If you are not familiar, the Factory installed all available upgrades available at the time: Larger sailing rudder improves turning and tracking, PVA floor mats look great and make the hull a LOT quieter, the square hatch was not the standard back then.
The extensive graphics are embedded in the hull rather than printed on it. The fish graphics represent species confirmed caught from Outbacks.
This is number 223 of 500 total produced.

The color ( Safety Orange ) was the only one available on the original Outback

It just needs someone to use it.
