(Fishing) Report - There are good people out there

Post by Music Man »

OK, bending the “fishing reports only” rule here…I was fishing and saw lots of bait moving…but was really out playing with my new kayak. It was very hot and I was out too long. Came back in a bit overheated. Being so exhausted, I was forgetful and left not just a padlock and keys on a trailer wheel well, but left my C-Tug cart at the launch. Realized it and drove back to find my C-Tug tied up on a sign.

There are very good people in our fishing community. Blessings their way.

Oh, I also found the padlock and keys :D

Yes, there are some good people Ive encountered while fishing. There are, of course, some that are not.
Worse was in Austin at Walsh boat landing. Left trolling motor on dock, left, got about 6 blocks away and realised my error.
Yep, it was gone and nobody was around. Almost like someone was laying in wait...
It was a weekday and there wasn't anyone I saw while loading up
