Still working on those boat handling skills in the bay so that when it warms up and the surf is larger than I want, it may still be an option. Be aware if you go, the water is cold but at 62 degrees it's not a major hypothermia risk as long as you don't float in it for too long. I wore neoprene pants under the brown ones and it wasn't too bad.

I almost sold my drysuit before moving here from Oregon. Glad I didn't. It will keep me alive long enough to get back into the kayak. Also great mosquito protection.

Here’s a few seconds of the fun. Most of this clip the front 10’ of the kayak was under water. I didn’t want to paddle again until it popped up near the end. It was a good day.
