Wow. That’s a beauty! Don’t know why you need roman candles while fishing, though. For the slow times, I guess.

Re: Monster Speck
the magic number we all want to land in our lifetime.
Think I mis-set one in Rattlesnake Bay one day.
Great photo, and love the grin.

Re: Monster Speck
Beautiful fish! Congrats.
Re: Monster Speck
Beautiful. I only know people that have gotten a 30” trout. A lot of people I know that are great at getting good fish and fished for decades haven’t cracked 30”. Then there’s my BIL who doesn’t even fish, doesn’t appreciate fishing (golfer)and he gets a 31” trout, basically on his first trip ever. No justice on this mortal plane.
Re: Monster Speck
Yes i Agree a 30 is hard to come by i have caught a few 28s and a couple 27 but only one that was over 30 fish was 10lbs caught and released but i did get a great replica mount that sits in my dads office
Re: Monster Speck
Congrats on the fish of a lifetime! Big kudos on releasing her. Was this a recent catch?
