#8 jig hook Cats Whiskers white bass fly

for 40 years now, Joe Robinson, Billy Trimble, and I have agreed on at least two things about white bass.
If you want to catch white bass, fish a sinking line, and bead-chain flies tied with short tails.

It depends where you catch them, in my opinion, I've caught them on #12-#6 clousers and woolly buggers. I've also caught my limit on dry flies can't remember what size, I was using elk hair caddis. I've used sinking and floating line.
