Late Report Rockport

Post by katzig »

I had a wonderful Fishing Trip at Rockport, We stayed for the full month of April, I was going through some of the pictures I took, and thought I'd share this one. It was one of my best days while there, Wind was blowing at about 30 mph out of the North, so I went to the south side of the New Copano Bay bridge, that gave me some protection from the wind, caught these under the bridge, all on soft plastic, 1/4 oz jig head.

Great report. Fishing in high winds is not my bag but you handled it well!

I was wondering when we'd get a fishing report, especially after last weekend's good weather.
Haven't fished Copano Bay bridge since a teenager, but it was always a reliable spot. Getting the wind behind you makes for nice long casts.
