Been lurking here waiting to get my first Kayak... Finally got the hook up at Christmas and was hoping to connect with local anglers on here, but it seems pretty dead... Is that the case?

People have been out for the holidays and also the weather has been kinda bad lately so not much fishing been going on. I managed to hit West Bay Galveston on Friday, offshore for snapper on Saturday, and tomorrow I am heading to Lake Conroe to try and find the crappie. The weather has finally cooperated a little.
