surf fishing on pa

I was thinking about goin to PA next weekend to surf fish...which I have never tried..any helpful hints or kinda baits to use or areas to fish ie mile marker off beach road. Thanks

I am assuming you are talking about Port Aransas? Last week my family was down there for a beach trip. This wasn't a fishing trip, but I brought a rod and some lures. In the thirty minutes or so that I fished, I caught a couple nice trout. I was throwing a silver spoon. I probably could have caught more, but I got distracted with other beach activities.
