Alright guys, besides the cookie cutter soft plastics, what else is your favorite lure to use in the marsh?

paddle tail. It does not matter as long as the tail flutters to draw in a bite.

A cookie cutter soft plastic like an Assassin or DSL were always pretty effective in the marsh. If the shell was too difficult or hard to pick out in muddy water, I liked the Skitterwalk line up.
Get into fly fishing and then you can roll your own marsh lures, nothing cookie cutter about that. There’s tons of recipes for different patterns that you can follow or just like in cooking, you can add, subtract, or substitute ingredients to come up with something suited to your own specific tastes and needs.

I like a 1/8th oz weedless gold spoon as well.
Do y'all consider it a fish finder? Anyone tip them with a plastic jigs?
I put a small crappie jig pinkish grub on the hook. I figure that would make it look more like a crab and it being small shouldn't effect the action.

I’ll use buggs, paddle tails and small topwater popper. I also added the micro spoon to the arsenal. Check out my newest video! Let me know what you think.

DOA shrimp, clear with chartreuse tail. Spoons are good too
