Omen #2 - Creepy murder doll floating next to me...

And that all equals to not a single hit, but the weather was nice for kayaking 8)

You were doomed from the get-go!
But it sure looks nice out there with all those trees.

I've caught blues, crappie, bass, gaspergou and redfish up there, but not consistently.
Just a place to go to when I gotta be on the water and the wind is howling 8)

Love that. Sometimes you just gotta get out and recharge the batteries..so to speak.

I see. I was looking at that area few times and thought to myself -- what could be living there? Looks like a decent water for crappies, but it could be too close to bay (i.e. too salty)... reds could be there too, but it is hard to catch them on artificials in deeper water of the bayou, plus it might be too far from the bay.

Murder doll head was a bad omen for Mini-me.
Spooky stuff. And it’s not even October!
