Big Shell Beach Cleanup

Post by Boomy »

Every year I'm tied up at work, so this was my first time to participate, and I'd do it again. It's our playground, we should help keep it nice....

Boomy, if I'd have known you were heading that way, I might have been able to go with ya to clean up and help split gas. Unless you have moved, you are just around the corner from me. Cya on the water buddy and thanks for the time you put in out there cleaning up! :)

I arrived a little earlier than you , was the first group out to the 27. Picked up two volunteers to tag along. I remember that red Chevy Avalance driving through the salt water. Must have seen too many commercials but the salt water, ouch.
I was driving my all yellow 97 Jeep Wrangler. Sorry we missed each other.

Man, I am 200 miles away but wish I could be there with you guys.
Great job, guys.
Will try be there next time.
Can you guys post the announcement on TKF next time? Because we are out-of-town folks.

Last couple years the clean up has been moved to February due to speed limit lowered to 15mph in March.

You were three rigs in front of me coming out. I had the Tahoe instead of the Jeep on this run (bad CV joint)...

Normally somebody posts up every year, but I guess with the slower traffic it slipped through the cracks this year.

Dang - wasn't aware of this. I live near Houston but frequent the Corpus/Port A area throughout the winter so would have helped had I know about this. Oh well, maybe next year.
