Parker's cut, as well as the bay to the west of it are both great places to fish. The fingers of Parkers can all hold fish, the northern most has some depth in spots that in bad weather will hold some big fish. The big shell patches outside those cuts are great, but using anything but a topwater, you'll likely lose some lures, so go cheap. The portage is not particularly short and watch for snakes and gators, especially if it's warm and sunny
