Anyone Kayak Fished Richland Chambers Reservoir?

Post by SlowYakker »

My family is looking at renting a home at Richland Chambers Reservoir. Anyone kayak fished it? Looking for recommendations on areas of Lake (NSEW), time of year, etc for family gathering and fishing, kayaking fun. Thanks in advance.

Richland Chambers might have some places to kayak fish, it is a very large lake. I have fished R/C from a regular boat and the wind came up and things got ugly in a hurry. I do fish Fairfield Lake with my kayak often, since I live just outside of Fairfield.

Thanks! Trying to see if there are any Coves or inlets that might suit a kayak better than open lake. Will then try to narrow down rental based upon location. Have some inexperienced kayakers that would go along with me.
