BTB Port O'Connor?
Has anyone ever made the paddle out to the beaches of Port O'Connor? I just bought a boat and am going to do some mothershipping out there. Does anyone know if any rigs are withing paddling distance (6 miles) from shore? If so how is it? Thanks for the help!

Google "NOAA charts" and zoom into the Texas coast and pull up the pdfs. You can see where they are (or were when the chart was published).

Yes, and it's a 6-7 mike paddle depending on where you camp. Currents can be treacherous at Pass Cavallo so be mindful of that.
